Description:

The AETNS Escan-Tardania (Dominion-class Aircraft Carrier), the pride of the Ascolla-East Ternev Navy and flagship of the 2nd High Seas Fleet, is sunk in a massive explosion at the Escan harbour. Though it is eventually recovered from the bottom of the harbour and later returned to duty, it is a heavy blow to the AETN, and suspicions of terrorism by left-leaning groups attempting to damage A-ET's international reputation grow heavy.

The investigation into the incident later reveals that the explosion was caused by negligent ammunition storage, but by that time the Escan Incident had already happened, so it goes largely unnoticed amongst the ASU fearmongering.
