Description:
The Treaty of Utrecht ended the war resulting in British territorial gains from France in North America. France was forced to recognize British control over the Hudson's Bay territory giving the British the exclusive right to all trading in this territory. This increase the revenue of the Hudson's Bay company. France was also forced to cede Newfoundland and Acadia to the British.
