Description:

The fall of the Qing Dynasty occured after Chinese defeat by foreign powers after the Boxer Rebellion. This resulted in China being forced to sign the Boxer Protocol, which led to China undergoing many reforms. This culminated with the death of Cixi and the Guangxu Emperor and resulted in many rebellions and the Manchu’s retreat. Finally, the last dynasty of China fell. (5.3)
