Description:
A pocket watch mysteriously appears in Thaniel's apartment; the watch is engraved with a maker he has never heard of-- "K. Mori, 27 Filigree Street, Knightsbridge". When he arrived at the Home Office, his colleagues and his close friend, Williamson, decoded telegrams that a clockwork bomb had been found, and that there is a timer for it to explode at 9 o'clock that night. That night, he noticed this mysterious pocket watch turning its gears oddly fast, and within seconds a bomb exploded just outside the restaurant he and many government officials were dining in. He begins to have suspicions about this pocketwatch.
