Description:
Roman/Greek orders are defined by a particular type of column and entablature. The proportions of the column, base and capital are considered along with stylized characteristics of the entablatures, column shaft and decorative adornments.
The types of orders are: Doric, Tuscan, Ionic, Corinthian and Composite. The Tuscan and Composite being adapted by the Romans, from the Greeks.
