Description:
American Commodore Matthew Perry was sent to Japan to demand that they open their borders for trade with the americans, but they denied his demands the first time. The second time he came back with four ships that he lead into the harbor at Tokyo Bay and re-stated his demands. They finally agreed after a few unfair treaties.
