jan 5, 2015 - Parliamentary deadlock declared
Description:
After the 2014 elections, with neither the Traditionalists nor the DSA able to secure a majority on their own, and failing to secure support from OSP without giving in to many of their demands (many of which they were unwilling to meet), the Grand Councilor declares a complete parliamentary deadlock on January 5th. In response, according to the 1975 Constitutional Amendment, the Parliament has all of its powers revoked until either the deadlock comes to an end or the next elections, with the diarchy taking control of the country in the meantime.
