Description:

This was known as the "Black Death". The Black Death spread from China all the way to Europe. WIthin 5 years, 25-50 million people had been killed. So many people died that is was around 1/3 of the population of Europe at the time. Towns were left deserted, either people left or everyone in the village died. The price of livestock dropped dramatically. This relates to 3.3 because it is a result of the increase in trade.
