Description:

After coming home from studying at Karlovac, Nikola contracted cholera and was bedridden for 9 months. When it seemed as if he was going to die, he mentioned to his father that perhaps if could study engineering he would get better. His father, having lost a son was not going to lost another one, and decided that Nikola was going to go the best technical school in the world.
