Escobedo v. Illinois:
A person accused of a crime must also be allowed to consult

Miranda v. Arizona:
An accused person must be informed of certain rights basic
rights: the right to remain silent; the right to know that
anything said can be used against them in court; and the right
to have a defense attorney present during questioning.
