jul 17, 1945 - Potsdam Conference

Description:

A meeting between The Big Three (Winston, Truman, and Stalin) that told the USSR of the beginnings of the Cold War. At this conference, it was expressed that America and Britain no longer truly needed the assistance of the USSR, now that the US had the atomic bomb and the war against Germany was over. This was also a time where the USSR was struggling heavily both politically and economically, and in many ways was in the most dire need for more assistance, and they received none from the newly brave Americans.
