Description:

With the end of the Algerian war in 1962, the French Colonial Armies and Legionaires were demobilized. This led Eyadema (He saw action in Indochina (1953-55) and Algeria (1956-61), following which he was stationed in Dahomey and Niger before being repatriated to Lomé in 1962 with NCO rank.) back to Togo. His concrete date of return is not researched yet.
