may 3, 1805 - A Cold Day for Traveling
Description:
We kept moving through the cold and frost. The cottonwood leaves are the size of dollars. We passed a small river called the 2000 mile river. A mile above us we passed Porcupine River. We encamped on the North side after traveling 20 miles. This was from Gass's journal.
