Description:
As the both physical and ideological head of the Nazi belief system, Hitler and his wife, Eva Braun’s double suicide signified the collapse of Nazi Germany. Goebbels became the chancellor in Hitler’s absence for a single day, before his wife and he killed his children to save them from a life without Nazism and followed in Hitler’s footsteps. The next day, on May 2nd, the remaining German forces surrendered to the Soviets, and the war in Europe was officially over.
