Description:

-Prohibition was the banishment of alcohol production, importation, transportation and sale.
-Prohibition remained in place from 1920 to 1933
-It was meant to help social problems, and improve health and hygiene overall in America.
-It was a failure, as the people running the illegal operations had plenty of money with which to pay such bribes.
-There was even more crime as police officers were easily bribed and the law was not very enforced.
-Prohibition actually increased the amount of organized crime
-I rated -2 because it was such a flawed system that caused more problems than it did solve answers
