Description:

Stalin wanted the withdrawal of Western powers from Berlin and introduced a mini blockade: blocking military supplies, restricting traffic and searching vehicles.
A collision occurred between a Soviet and British plane - though probably and accident, the lack of investigative co-operation showed how bad relations were.
Opponants to communism or those who opposed the two different currencies were beaten up in the streets and violence increased.
