mar 6, 1946 - Churchill's Iron
Curtain speech
Description:
In the USA, Churchill made a speech accusing the USSR of seeking influence and power at all costs and coined the term Iron Curtain - the invisible dividing line between East and West.
Stalin saw the speech as a deliberate and unfair attempt to show the USSR as aggressive and untrustworthy and said that it deliberately misunderstood soviet actions in Eastern Europe
