Description:

After finding a group of Elk, we hunted them and killed four. Since Lewis did not bring any medicine with him, he had to experiment by trying other berries and plants. He ended up feeling better. Silas Goodrich caught many fish of two different species. His group found a lot of game on their march of 9 miles. This was from Lewis's journal.
