Description:

The Revolution of 1910 started on November 20th, 1910 when the dictator Porfirio Diaz was in power as a dictator. He was a part of the Liberal Party, but many called for the establishment of a democratic/provisional government to replace the dictatorship. It was one of the first violent wars since the Mexican Revolution where they gained their independence. The revolution was led by Madero, and the result was Diaz being exiled from Mexico to France. Madero took over as a Progressive Party President, but was assassinated in 1913.
