Description:
The Seven Years War (which ironically lasted for only 6 years) began on May 17th 1756 and is considered by some to be the true first "World War" as it featured European nations and their overseas colonies. The two most notable belligerants in the war would be Britain and France who fought over the Ohio River Valley in North America. The war concluded with a British Victory and the French conceeded all their territory in the Americas. The war also led to a massive ammount of war debt for the British would ultimately would lead to their decision to tax their American colonies.
