Description:
Vietnam was fought between the U.S.-backed South Vietnamese and the pro-communist North Vietnamese to stop the “Domino Effect” that was feared to take place if Vietnam was united under communism. The United States initiated a draft which accounted for roughly 1/3 of the forces. 58,000 Americans were killed.
