feb 19, 1942 - Executive Order 9066
Description:
President Roosevelt signed the executive order into law in 1942. With this law, the US took japanese out of their homes and they put them into internal camps to keep. Roosevelt did this to prevent the Japanese from spying on us and to keep them from helping Japan during the war. There were military zones set up California, Washington, and Oregon.
