Description:

Iran successfully launched a satellite-carrying rocket into space in Tehran, Iran. Safir is a space vehicle which was unsuccessful in its first space-launch. The first known successful launch was, the Safir-2. The launch marks a major step forward for the growth of Iran's space program, however, nations feared this movement for Iran might aim to develop space weapons.
