mar 26, 2007 - US sanctions against Iran
Description:
The Iran Sanctions Enhancement Act was introduced in the United States House of Representatives. These representatives would have threatened sanctions against any company or anyone that provided Iran with refined petroleum products or engage in an activity that could contribute to the enhancement of Iran's ability to import refined products after December 31, 2007. The petition was never voted on and died in committee. The United States was making its move to isolate Iran over its nuclear plans, for they know that Iran's gasoline imports are going strong and will profit them big time. Washington accused Iran of planning to build nuclear weapons. Thus, Tehran denied any of the accusations.
Americans were conducting plans for this movement over the last five years.
U.S. companies are prohibited from trade with Iran under a group of sanctions, but most foreign companies are free to trade with Tehran.
