Description:

After the battle of Shem the Nephites went on the offensive and won battle after battle until, in this year they had retaken all the lands that they had previously possessed. Thus the fortunes of war had turned a complete 180O in their favor.
It seems that the war was divided into two fronts; the Lamanites and the Gadianton Robbers. Both seem to have been independent peoples, and both were defeated by the Nephites.
