Description:
In this year the Lamanites came against the Nephites on the borders of Zarahemla. This would seem to indicate that the Nephites and Lamanites had returned to their historical lands.
Regardless, the Nephites sent out an army of 30,000 men. Over the course of the year there were many battles, though details are given. By the end of the year the Nephites gained the victory and the Lamanites withdrew. Four years of peace followed.
Mormon was about 11 years old at the time.
