Description:

In this year the divisions of the people became so great that the old ancestral names once again were used to distinguish the people.

The faithful members of the church were once again called Nephites. But, within the Nephites, there were those called Jacobites, Josephites, and Zoramites.
Those who had rebelled against the gospel were again called Lamanites. But among them there were those who were called Lemuelites and Ishmaelites.
