oct 24, 210 - Three Disciples Persecuted
Description:
As the people willfully rebelled they became very wicked. Yet the three Nephite disciples were still among them and still preached the word with great power. The people were angry at this and their wickedness simply became more violent.
We are told that they cast the Three into prisons, and yet the prisons were rent in twain by their words.
They wer cast into furnaces of fire, and yet received no harm.
They were cast into dens of wild beasts, and they played with the animals as a child plays with a lamb.
For 20 years the Three Disciples endured this persecution, all the time preaching the word and performing many great miracles among the faithful.
