As the people divided into classes they began to set up knew churches to cater to the wicked desires of men, By this year there were many such churches, and all claimed to be the true church of Christ, yet all corrupted and perverted the doctrine and the ordinances.
The people who joined these churches did not sin in ignorance. They were not deceived. They willfully rebelled against the truth that they knew. So they did not dwindle in unbelief, but embraced wickedness with a full understanding of heart.
