After the miracle of raising Timothy from the dead Nephi and the rest of the faithful found a growing interest in the gospel and there was much success in the ministry. During the first part of the year there was a sufficient number of converts that churches were organized and ministers were ordained to oversee them. As the year progressed many more became converted and the church began to spread.
