Description:
A battle as great as the one between the Robbers and the Nephites most likely lasted for a number of days. But in the end the Robbers were routed and began to flee back into the wilderness. Gidgiddoni, who had refused to attack the Robbers before, now ordered his men to pursue them as far as the border of the wilderness, but no farther. He further ordered them to kill all those that they did overtake. There were no prisoners taken at this time.
In this pursuit Giaddianhi, the leader of the Robbers, was also overtaken and slain by the Nephites.
