Description:

Thomas Jackson first fought in the Mexican War, resigning his post after the war ended, but when the Civil war erupted he was reinstated as a troop leader for the Confederate army. During his first Civil War Battle at Bull Run, Jackson was given his nickname for his quick thinking and courage. Jackson was then later shot and killed on accident by his own army.
