Description:

In the First Battle of Bull Run, Jackson earned his nickname of “Stonewall” while leading a brigade of Virginians. In the Second Battle of Bull Run, Jackson’s “foot cavalry” was sent around Pope’s right flank to attack his supply lines in the rear. At Chancellorsville, Jackson rode out beyond the skirmish line to locate the Union forces, when he was shot in the arm and soon after died from pneumonia.
