Description:
In this year we are told that Nephi is given the sealing powers from God. Not only this, but God declares His complete trust in Nephi, stating that Nephi would not ask anything that was contrary to the Lord's will.
While it is likely true that other Nephite prophets had the sealing powers, Nephi is the only one that the record states directly had this power.
After this, whenever Nephi was to go and teach in the congregations of the church, he was carried by the Spirit. By this miraculous means of travel he was enabled to visit several congregations each day, and his ministry was greatly enlarged.
