sep 5, 3250 BC - Earliest Known Evidence of Writing
Description:
Archaeologists researching at the Harappa site found a set of cuneiform tablets dating back to 3300-3200 BC. They contain markings which appear to be written right to left. The language is currently undecipherable, but new technologies are being experimented with to hopefully find some meaning to these symbols. One of their writings looks like this: https://goo.gl/EGXwPb
