mar 25, 1807 - End of the British Slave Trade
Description:
In 1807, Parliament passed the Slave Trade Act, which outlawed the slave trade. The slave trade had been going on for centuries, so it was very important for slavery in Britain to be outlawed. However, this act only ended the importation of slaves, not the use of slave labor. (4.2)
