14h 37min, apr 8, 1865 y - Robert E. Lee
Description:
Robert E. Lee was one of if not the best general of the Civil War. His victories at Second Bull Run and the Battle of Fredericksburg gained the Confederacy a number of advantages and disrupted the Union. His numerous attempts at invading the North were well planned and had the potential to change the course of the war, but in the end, his surrender at the Appomattox Courthouse, ending the Civil War, would prove to be his most influential action.
