Description:
Space War was one the first video game that utilised multiplayer, and became known to be the first to be played at multiple places at once. This was a breakthrough for games because it proved that games could be played together no matter where the players were, and also set the stage for competitive multiplayer games in the future. The game had 2 players in a dog fight, and used Newtonian physics meaning that the character was still in motion even after the player stopped moving the ship themselves. The game itself could be played on a few systems, which proved that games could be played on different platforms, however, the game was graphically limited due to the restrictions on what it could be played on however the physics used in the game can still be seen today with other titles.
