Description:
When the Weltkrieg broke out, Egypt had been forced to became a British Protectorate on 18 December 1914 and deposed Abbas II, the Khedive of Egypt who supported the Ottomans and Central Powers. When the Entente collapsed with the surrender of France, leaving Britain to stand alone, seeing the chance to return to his throne, Abbas II appeal to Egyptians and Sudanese revolt to support the Central Powers against the British. And soon, thousands of Egyptians revolt to force the British pulled out from Egypt and restore the Khedivate of Egypt and the throne of Abbas II.
