Venus is the second planet closest to the sun and is also a Terrestrial planet. Venuses climate is very unique because the part of the planet that is facing the sun is astonishingly hot and the side that is not facing the sun is extremely cold. The period of rotation for Venus is eighteen hours and zero minutes. Then the period of revolution is two hundred twenty five days. The number of moons that Venus has is a total of zero moons just like Mercury. Mercury and Venus are the only planets in the solar system that have no moons. The period of rotation for Venus is 116 days and 18 hours. The period of revolution of Venus is 225 days.
