dec 2, 1931 - Coup in El Salvador

Description:

In December 1931, Vice-president Maximiliano Hernández Martínez’s led a coup of the Labor Party and Arturo Araujo. It succeeded and a military dicatorship was established. His presidency completely crushed all opposition and rolled back the minor reforms made by Araujo.
