With the capitulation of Salonika Government of Greece, the Treaty of Salonika was upon the nation in 1919. Greece have to give up some its gains from the first two Balkan Wars that had occurred less than a decade prior, like East Macedonia and Serres and the most of the Aegean Islands were given back to the Ottomans, to exchange war debts which made during the Weltkrieg.
