The March for Our Lives event was in protest of gun violence and was a demonstration in hopes of inspiring the government to create tighter gun laws. The event was held after the Parkland School shooting in which a former student was able to access firearms and go into a school, killing 17 people and injuring many more. This demonstration was a cry for help from the many school shootings that have occurred in the nation despite the many protests for gun control that have not been helped.
