Description:
Agreement signed between the Central Powers and the new Soviet Union. Surrendered massive portions of the old Russian Empire to Imperial Germany, including significant portions of the arable land and industry. Additionally caused the Soviet Union to descend further into civil war against the ‘Whites’. Although the Central Powers were defeated, the Allies refused to return large portions of the Soviet Unions lands to her for multiple reasons
1. Punishment for surrendering and leaving the war.
2. Limit Communist influence.
3. Bolster White support in the western regions.
4. Restrict and challenge Soviet expansion.
