Description:
His fairly easy victory at Zarahemla made Coriantumr over confident. Thinking that he had already defeated the greatest of the Nephite armies he left few in the city to maintain it. He took the bulk of his army and marched north, heading for Bountiful. All along the way he pillaged the land.
However, this gave Moronihah enough time to gather his forces. Having heard of the attack on Zarahemla, Moronihah recalled all the armies of the Nephites from the border lands and marched to intercept Coriantumr.
They met outside Bountiful and there was a great battle. In this battle Coriantumr was slain the Lamanites fled from the land.
As there were few left to maintain the city of Zarahemla, the city was easily retaken and peace restored.
