Description:
A descendant of Zarahemla, he was a large and mighty man who dissented from the Nephites. He went and joined the Lamanites and incited their king to once again attack the Nephites.
The King of the Lamanites was Tubaloth, the son of Ammoron and nephew of Amalikiah. He had tried a little over a year earlier to attack the Nephites and had failed.
However, Coriantumr's strength and force of personality inspired him. He thought that such a man might have the power to finally Conquor the Nephites.
So, Tubaloth gave Coriantumr the command of the Lamanites armies.
