Description:
After Paanchi had been executed his followers first banded around the man Kishkumen.
Kishkumen was obviously a man of stealth and subtly, and the people who had supported Paanchi readily chose him as their leader.
In their anger at the execution of Paanchi, these men sent Kishkumen, in disguise, to the Judgment Seat. He snuck in and assassinated Pahoran II. The guards gave him chase, but he was a very quick man and could not be overtaken.
After this was done all the supporters of Paanchi entered into a covenant with Kishkumen to never reveal that he had committed the murder. Thus this secret band formed and mingled with the Nephites.
There was an effort to hunt them out, and as many as could be found and identified according to the law were also punished according to the law. But it seems that only few were found at this time.
