oct 25, 63 BC - Western Withdrawal
Description:
After they had lost the cities of Cumeni and Manti in the same year, and having their most powerful armies in the west destroyed, the Lamanites soon withdrew from the western quarters of the land, and by the end of the year all the lands were back in the hands of the Nephites.
Now, the record tells us that four cities had been taken by the Lamanites. However, the record only describes the Nephites retaking three of them.
The fourth was Zeezrom. We do not know if the Lamanites just abandoned it after they had lost Manti, or if there was another battle fought to take it.
I believe the record is more supportive of the first; that it was simply abandoned by the fearful Lamanites.
