Description:
The party met a monk by the name of Jiraiya who told them of a "dead zone" where ki, the very energy of existence, didn't exist. He could not enter the misty area himself to stop it, but the party could. They fought Oozes that were attacking a Dog near this mist and the Dog was, to their surprise, able to cast spells. After venturing into the mist, the party fought their way into the center, where a jagged, obsidian pillar stood on a platform of the same material. All of it coursed with veins of gold and copper and shown a yellowish light. They fought a construct that stepped away from the party, it swapped between their forms and was able to use their abilities against them. They pulled a translucent orb that glows a whitish blue light from the constructs chest.
