On January 14, 2010 , the Government of Canada sent two Canadian Forces Maritime Command ships (Athabaskan and Halifax) with emergency supplies and aid for people hit by earthquake. This aid sent by Canada showed how caring Canada is to other countries when they need it. It showed the world that we are all people in need, not countries who have people in them who only help themselves.Added to timeline:
